Every diamond is unique.
Each reflects the story of its arduous journey from deep inside the earth to a cherished object of adornment.
Yet all diamonds share certain features that allow us to compare and evaluate them. These features are called the 4Cs.
The 4Cs represents the globally accepted standard for describing diamonds: Carat weight, Colour, Clarity, and Cut
carat colour clarity cut shape
round
The asscher cut like a house of mirrors with concentric square patterns. It is a square cut diamond characaraterised by a smaller table and larger stepped facets than the emerald cut.

The asscher cut diamond is uniquely cut like the emerald cut except that it is squarer in shape, but it has more light and brilliance than an emerald because of its small table and high crown.

At Ancardi, we also take length to width ratio into considerations as it is with the emerald when choosing the stone. Our gemmologist will examine the stone not only for its shape appeal, but will ensure that the shape and proportions of the diamond are aesthetically pleasing.
